Let the Width of the RECTANGULAR plot be = y

Then, LENGTH of the rectangular plot will be = 2y

Total wire needed to fence the plot = 300m

FormuLa : -

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + B)

Now ,

→2(l + b) = 300

→2(2y + y) = 300

→2(3y) = 300

→6y = 300

→y = 300/6

→y = 50

Hence , Width of the rectangular plot is 50m

So ,

Width of Rectangula Plot = (y) = 50m

Length of Rectangular Plot = 2(y)

2×50

100m

Therefore , Width of rectangular plot is 50m and Length of rectangular plot is 100m ..
