Answer» SOLUTION :POLYTHENE and bakelite are the POLYMERS and have a lot of applications in daily LIFE. Since polythene is a thermoplastic ( which melts on heating ) can not be USES for making electrical insulators or handles. Bakelite can be used for these purposes as it is a thermosetting polymer ( once set into hard mass can not be remelted ).
