Solution :Here, let L be the LENGTH of chain. L= 2m
Length hanging verticallly =`(60)/(100)=0.6 m`
The w.t of hanging part is acting at C.G. of this part i.e at a distance =`(0.6)/(2)=0.3m` from FREE end.
Mass of hanging part `=(4/2xx0.6)=1.2kg`.
`:.` Work done =`1.2xx10xx0.3`
