Zener Diode as Voltage Regulator: Zenerdiode is used in regulatingfluctuating voltageas shown. It is connectedcircuit through RESISTANCER depending on volatage or power rating R, is connected in parallel and output is received . Om an ABRUPT increaseof voltage across diodebecomesconstant, EQUAL to breakdownvoltage but currentrisessharply. Hence,there is an increasein VOLTAGEDROP R.
