Camel is known as “ship of the DESERT” because only camel is the means of transport in desert and they are USUALLY used to move from one place to another easily . As camel also have many physical ADVANTAGES which helps them to move in desert very easily :-

  1. It has hump which help them to store water for 2–4 days .
  2. They have specialised toes which help them to move easily on sand without any interruption.
  3. They have thick lips and endothelium of mouth is also very thich which help them to eat desert plants (such as cactus ETC) .
