Answer» Distilled water is pure water . Pure water does not have free electrons necessary for conducting electricity . So it does not conduct electricity . .any water is called universal solvent . It is a very good solvent . .It absorbs any type of impurity readily , in fact looks for it . .So in the formation of rain clouds when water vapor rises from surface water , and when the rain water comes down from the clouds , a lot of contaminants are absorbed in the rain water . .These contaminants make rain water a good conductor of electricity . |
