Answer» Wind patterns constantly show seasonal changes, but the overall pattern of wind over the past 100 YEARS has shown little change. In general research has identified Texas, Oklahoma, KANSAS, Montana, Parts of New Mexico, Wyoming, Nebraska, and large parts of ILLINOIS, Minnesota,essentially all of the Great PLAINS, as well as Coastal Areas, and areas that are near lakes and without obstructions as some of the best winds in the world.
