Using the formulas

$a = \pi \: {r}^{2}$

$d \: = 2r$

Solving for d

$d = 2 \: \sqrt{ \frac{a}{\pi} } \: = 2. \sqrt{ \frac{6}{\pi} }$

$2.76395cm$

So that answer is d =2.76 cm
