Answer» The calorific value of wood is low. Thus,to produce sufficient amount of heat,we need to burn a large quantity of wood. Burning of wood produces a lot of smoke and harmful gasseswhich pollute the air. Wood does not burn completely, it produces a lot of residue in the chulha,which is very harmful. |
