dear loving parents,

Hello (or any other greeting) my loving parents! I am doing fine, and I hope you are too. I GOT your letter, and I am more than happy to tell you my birthday wish.

I went in Great thought about my birthday gift when I RECEIVED your letter. When I was little, all I wanted was TOYS and candy. But this year I would like SOMETHING different----- something money can't buy. For my birthday, I want you both to visit me for a while.

Now you must be wondering why, and it is simply because life goes on and on, time doesn't stop, and no one is emortal. As I am getting BUSIER and younger, you are facing old age.I want to spend my moments with you because money can buy shoes, clothes, big mansions, cars etc, but it can't buy time.

All I am asking, mom and dad, is to spend time with my loved ones so I don't regret my time. Hope you will agree.

sincerely,

your son
