Given, 

Mass m = 50 kg 

Velocity = 50 cms-1 

1 cm = 0.01 m 

So, velocity = 50 ×0.01 ms-1 

v = 0.5 ms-1 

We know, 

Kinetic energy = \(\frac{1}{2}\)mv2

Substituting value of m and v in the equation:

Kinetic energy = \(\frac{1}{2}\) × 50 × 0.52

= \(\frac{1}{2}\) × 12.5 kgm2s-2 

= 6 J
