The perimeter of the poster was 132 cm.To find :- AREA of poster.Solution :- Perimeter of poster = 132 CMAS we know that→ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)Where " l " is length and " b " is breadth of rectangle.Let the breadth be x then length be 2x According to question→ Perimeter of poster = 132 cm→ 2(l + b) = 132→ 2(2x + x) = 132→ 3X = 132/2→ 3x = 66→ x = 66/3→ x = 22 cmHence,Breadth of poster = x = 22cmLength of poster = 2x = 44cmNow,Area of poster → length × breadth→ l × b→ 44 × 22→ 968 cm²Therefore,Area of poster is 968 cm² |
