Collect data about the number of hours spent in “reading” – either lecture notes or general reading or for some professional exam. Calculate the arithmetic mean, range, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. Note that this can be a discrete frequency distribution depending upon the data collected. If the national coefficient of variation for the same is 0.72, state which shows more variation – your data or the national value. |
