Solution :(a) F-centres. In non-stoichiometric compounds, the sites containing the entrapped electrons in the anionic vacancies which impart colour to the crystals are called F-centres.
(B) Antiferromagnetism. The substances which are expected to possess PARAMAGNETISM or FERROMAGNETISM on the basis of unpaired electron but have zero net magnetic moment due to the presence of EQUAL number of domains in the opposite directions are called antiferromagnetic substances and this phenomenon is called antiferromagnetism eg.
