Answer» Olympic flag was created in 1913 by Baronde Coubertin. It was first inaugurated in Paris in June 1914. Olympic flag is made of white silk and contains five interlocking rings/circles in five colours representing five continents of the world namely America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. The five rings have different colours namely yellow, green red blue and black. The interlocking of the ring circle symbolizes co-cooperation and friendship.The Olympic Oath is taken by one athlete and one official at the opening ceremony of each Olympic Games. The athlete, a representative from the team of the organizing country, holds a corner of the Olympic Flag while reciting the following oath: " In the name of all the competitors I promise that we shall take part in these Olympic Games, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern them, committing ourselves to a sport without doping and without drugs, in the true spirit of sportsmanship, for the glory of sport and the honor of our teams".
