Describe the motion of a charged particle in a cyclotron if the frequency of the radio frequency (rf) field were doubled.

Solution :When the frequency w of ELECTRIC field (oscillator) is doubled the time PERIOD `(T=(2pi)/omega)` becomes half. So, the charged PARTICLE will take half time to REACH between dees. Hence, a charged particle accelerates as it moves in circular path between the dees during motion in dee.s the RADIUS of moving charged particle remain same.
