Answer» <html><body><p>Hi <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/ch-241780" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CH">CH</a>,<br/><br/>Im not sure if people will be able to help on my query.<br/><br/><a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/currently-428637" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CURRENTLY">CURRENTLY</a>, we have a particular scope that is constantly getting full... we have also amended the lease time to try and refresh it quicker than others...<br/><br/>Im just wondering... because most of these devices are infact offline and taking valuable leases is there any command I can run to tell me the offline ones? <br/><br/>Currently, what im doing is exporting the devices to a .txt file and then replacing with the built in 'Replace' feature in notepad to create: PING ADDRESS HERE -N <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/1-236780" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about 1">1</a> <br/><br/>The above would then process all the devices so I can paste it into <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/cmd-920083" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CMD">CMD</a> and then one by one tell me which one responds or which ones dont of which I then delete...<br/><br/>Its just a query... but would be great if theres a quicker way.<br/><br/>Thank you.Hi,<br/><br/>Can't you use a program like netscan? this <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/scan-1195614" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SCAN">SCAN</a>'s all the ip aresses in a range.<br/><br/>Kind regards<br/><br/>KoenIt's not clear what you are trying to do. Are you an ISP? Why are you concerned about leases? What kind of devices are you dealing with?</p></body></html> | |
