1.

Differentiate between periodic and non-periodic motion with examples.

Answer»

periodic MOTION- Periodic motion, in physics, motion repeated in equal intervals of time. Periodic motion is PERFORMED, for example, by a rocking chair, a bouncing ball, a vibrating tuning fork, a swing in motion, the Earth in its orbit AROUND the Sun, and a water wave.non-periodic motion-A motion repeating itself at regular intervals is REGARDED as periodic motion. A motion that repeats itself is considered a non-periodic motion but not at regular periods of time.Hope it helps
