Answer» Solution :Minerals : The combined states of the metals which occur in the earth.s crust along with earthly and ROCKY impurities (i.e. gangue or matrix) are CALLED minerals. Ores: All the minerals of a METAL cannot be used for the purpose of extraction of metal . In somecases the process of extraction is tedious and in some other CASES It is not economialand profitable.
