  1. The individual is a member of a religious DENOMINATION having a real nonprofit religious organization in the US.
  2. The religious denomination and its affiliate, if applicable, are exempt from TAXATION.
  3. The individual has been a member of the religious denomination for at least 2 years immediately preceding the time of the application.
  4. The individual is coming to the United States to work at least part-time (average of at least 20 hours per week).
  5. The individual is entering the United States solely as a minister or to perform a religious vocation or occupation.
  6. The individual is coming to the United States at the request of the petitioner to work for the petitioner.
  7. The individual will only work as per the R-1 visa approval.
