Sprint zero alias inception PHASE takes place before the start of the project. The goal of the inception phase or sprint zero is that the TEAM COMES TOGETHER to develop minimal user stories, project skeleton, and to develop a workable product. The sprint must be lightweight.

Purposes of Sprint Zero 

The purpose of this Sprint is to be productive. The Sprint should remain a lightweight exercise. By the completion of this Sprint prioritization of features or a list of Users, Stories should be COMPLETED.  

Sprint zero purposes 

  1. Create a useful piece of code. 
  2. Minimal conditions for writing code. 
  3. Prioritization of features or stories. 
  4. Release plan detailing each story to a Sprint. 
  5. Plan for the implementation of features.
