What is Scrum-ban?

Answer»

Scrumban is an Agile development methodology that is a combination of Scrum and Kanban.

Scrumban was developed to meet the requirements of teams who wanted to reduce the batching of work and embrace a pull-based method. A mixture of Scrum and Kanban PROVIDES teams the versatility to accommodate stakeholder and production requirements without getting OVERBURDENED by their project methodology.

Scrumban renders the edifice of Scrum with the versatility and visualization of Kanban, delivering a highly adaptable path to workflow MANAGEMENT.  Scrumban can be used as a steppingstone for teams ATTEMPTING to transition from Scrum to Kanban. An immediate shift to Kanban WOULD be futile to developers and scrumban allows teams to learn a process of how to practice perpetual development and improvement in Kanban without dropping the common structure of Scrum.
