Answer»

Solution : (i)Mr. Khanna expressed his sincerity and responsibility of a GOOD friend and was concerned about the health and physical fitness of his friend Mr. Singh
(ii) Substances which reduce the release of excess HCl by PREVENTING the interaction of HISTAMINE with the receptors present in the stomach are called ANTACIDS. The commonly used antacids are cimetidine and ranitidine.
(iii) It is not advisable to take antacids for a long period of TIME because continuous use of antacids does not prevent the interaction of histamine with the receptors present in the stomach wall. As a result, release of HCI continues and the problem of hyperacidity remains
