1.	Explain anisotropy in solids with the help of a diagram.
Answer» Solution :There is a difference in the arrangement of PARTICLES along AB and along CD. Similarly arrangement in any other direction will be different. Due to this, PROPERTIES like ELECTRICAL resistance and refractive index will be different in different directions. This is called anisotropy.
