Explain Online,offline,degraded States Of An Array ? |

Answer» ONLINE:- when all drives are WORKING fine Downgraded:- Whenever there is a drive failure but still the array is functioning fine Offline:- Array or whole data storage is down REBUILDING:- Storage access is there but since a new drive has been inserted in place of a failed drive data is being written to new drive which might SLOW down the performance of the whole RAID array.
