| Answer» Solution :During sunrise or sunset the sun is NEARER to the horizon. Sunlight travels maximum thickness of the atmosphere. So, sorter waves of BLUE REGION are scattered away by the atmosphere. Red waves of LONGER wave-length are LEAST scattered and reach the observer. So, the sun appears red. | |
