Let AE be the radius of an arc drawn at E and EC be the tangent drawn at E.
`AE=BC=v tau`
The triangles AEC and CBA are congruent and therefore `OVERSET(^)(i)=overset(^)(r )` Hence the LAW of reflection is proved.
