Answer» Solution :In physical adsorption, there are weak VAN der Waals forces. Therefore, it forms multilayers. In chemisorption, adsorbate is ATTACHED by CHEMICAL bond. There is a strong force of attraction. Therefore, only ONE layer is obtained.
