Answer» SOLUTION :The halogens are coloured Halogens are coloured because they ABSORB radiations from visible light. The radiations which are transmitted is the colour of the halogen. `F_2` has YELLOW, `Cl_2` has greenish yellow, `Br_2` has RED colour and `I_2` has VIOLET colour.
