Answer» SOLUTION :On passing an electric CURRENT through a sol, the COLLOIDAL particles move towards oppositely charged electrode. This phenomenon is called electrophoresis. POSITIVELY charged particles move towards the CATHODE while negatively charged particles move towards the anode.
