We know that:

The SUM of all exterior angles of a regular polygon is 360°

Since the polygon has 15 sides the measure of exterior angle for each side is to be found out.

For this LET's apply the concept of ratio and proportion.

  • 15 sides → 360°
  • 1 side → ?

This can ALSO be WRITTEN as:

15 : 360 :: 1 : x

⇒ 15x = 360

⇒ x = 360 ÷ 15

⇒ x = 24°

∴ Measure of each exterior angle = 24°
