Answer» :- The total area of the GIVEN DIAGRAM (For diagram please refer to the attachment) Solution :- Since Length > BREADTH and ANGLE of vertices is 90° , All figures are rectangles.For the first small rectangle :- Length = 4 cm ; Breadth = 2 cm Area of rectangle = L × B = 4cm × 2cm = 8 cm² For the second medium rectangle :-Length = (5 + 4 + 5)cm = 14 cm²Breadth = 2 cm Area of rectangle = L × B = 14 cm² × 2 cm² = 28 cm²For the third large rectangle :-Length = (5 + 14 + 5)cm = 24 cm²Breadth = 2 cmArea of rectangle = L × B = 24 cm² × 2 cm² = 48 cm²Area of whole figure = 8 cm² + 28 cm² + 48 cm² = 84 cm² Required answer = 84 cm² |
