ACCORDING to Le Chatelier.s PRINCIPLE, the formation of ammonia is favoured by i) High pressure of about 200 atm. ii) A moderate temperature of 773K iii) Iron oxide is used as catalyst with small amounts of `K_(2)O` and `Al_(2)O_(3)` as a promoters to increase the rate of attainment of equilibrium. |
