Solution :For the reaction, `A +B to` PRODUCTS,the rate law is
`(dx)/(dt)=r_1=k[A][B]^2`… (i)
`r_2 = k[1/2][2B]^2`…(ii)
`or r_2= 1/2xx2^2k[A][B]^2`…(iii)
Dividing (iii) by (i)
`(r_(2))/(r_(1)) = (2 k [A][B]^(2))/(k[A][B]^(2)) = 2 therefore r_(2) = 2r_(1)`
