Answer» Solution :Friedel CRAFT's ACYLATION : The introduction of acyl group in the BENZENE ring is termed as Friedel Craft's acylation. Anhydrous `AlCl_(3)` is used as the catalyst. Chlorobenzene react with acetyl CHLORIDE in presence of anhudrous aluminium chloride to form o- and p-chloro acetophenones.
