Solution :(i) Dilute solution of sulphuric acid/aqueous solution of sulphates gives white precipitate ( barium sulphate) with barium chloridesolution.
(ii) It can ALSO be detected using lead acetate solution. Here a white precipitate of lead sulphate is obtained.
