Answer» Solution :Adsorrption of `H_(2)` on finely DIVIDED NICKEL at room temperature is due to PHYSISORPTION. As temperature is INCREASED, `H_(2)` dissociates into atoms which are HELD on the surface of nikel by chemisorption.
