Answer» Solution :(i) Borax is used for the IDENTIFICATION of coloured METAL ions. (ii) In the manufacture optical and borosilicate GLASS, enamels and glazes for pottery. (iii) It is also used as a flux in metallurgy and also ACTS as a good preservative.
