There was a client who had come in for a haircut and a blow DRY. I listened to her intently before deciding that she required a type of haircut that was popular in those days. I kept asking her all through the process if she liked what she saw and her answer was always in the affirmative. However, RIGHT after the blow dry, she threw such a fit, actually calling me NAMES because apparently I had “RUINED” her hair. This went on for a long time, with me trying to calm her down, until the manager intervened and diffuse the situation. Thankfully there were other customers who had HEARD her tell me what to do with her hair and vouch for me.
