Standard form basically means you've to reduce the fraction into its smallest form, ie. divide both numerator and denominator by a common factor until it can't be DIVIDED any further. In the FIRST STEP, I divided both numerator and denominator by 3. In 2ND step I divided both numerator and denominator by 7. When the answer BECAME 21 or 21/1, I couldn't divide it further, thus 21/1 is the standard form of 567/21. |
