Answer» Solution :Vitamins are classified into two groups based on their solubility in water and in fat. Fat soluble vitamins: These vitamins absorbed best when taken with fatty food and are stored in fatty tissues and LIVES. These vitamins do not DISSOLVE in water. Hence they are called fat soluble vitamins. Vitamin A,D,E & K are fat- soluble vitamins. Water B `(B_1,B_2,B_3,B_4,B_5,B_6,B_7,B_9 & B_12)` and C are READILY soluble in water. These vitamins cant be stored. |
