Answer» The word “check’ may be labelled the American National Expression. The British usage confines it to dictionary definitions. Everyone knows what fabulous means but the American usage has enlarged its sense to eccentric, or from a sincere compliment to an insinuation. शब्द check को अमेरिकन राष्ट्रीय अभिव्यक्ति का नाम दिया जा सकता है। ब्रिटिश यूसिज/प्रयोग इसे शब्दकोश की परिभाषाओं तक ही सीमित रखते हैं। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति जानता है कि fabulous का क्या अर्थ होता है किन्तु अमरीकी यूसिज/प्रयोग ने इसे eccentric या sincere compliment से लेकर एक insinuation (कटाक्ष ) तक का अर्थ दिया है। |
