1.

How do we know that numbers a,b and c are in the form of equation (a+b)² or (a-b)² ?

Answer»

Answer:

If the equation includes the the given VARIABLES as the formulas of the EXPANSION , we can identify the form of formula .

For example , if the equation is :

(*please note a and b are variables which may have a NUMBER in its place .)

a^2 +b^2 + 2ab

then it is the form (a+b)^2

and if it is like ,

a^2 + b^2 - 2ab , then it is the expanded form of (a-b)^2.

Hope this helps.

Have a NICE day !
