How do you know if you are using Agile development and that Agile is working for your organization?

Answer»

There is no standard/universal checklist to measure an organization’s successful Agile adoption. So, every organization should develop its own SET of criteria BASED on what matters most to them. Some of the EXAMPLES include

  • Development teams are better able to estimate and predict releases
  • Products DELIVERED to customers feature better value proposition
  • The operations TEAM has the bandwidth for more value addition
  • Enterprise architecture is robust but flexible
  • Teams participate and contribute to common corporate initiatives not directly related to their projects
  • Business stakeholders actively participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Increase in software quality and reduced technical debt
  • Reduced lead time to ship validated product, and reduced cycle time for hypothesis validation
