| Answer» Solution :When salt is spread over SNOW covered roads, snow starts melting from the surface because ofthe DEPRESSION in freezing point of water. Now, water will freeze at a lower temperature. At the PREVAILING temperature, water will remain as liquid and not in the FORM of ICE. This helps in clearing the roads. | |
