It is common knowledge that  learning never stops. Additionally in today's competitive world, the focus is on problem solving. Therefore, it is extremely important to think creatively. This is nothing but USING one’s intelligence (knowledge and skill set) to resolve issues. Hence, the ability to change from having fixed ideas to having a more flexible approach is an indication of intelligence.

Given the manner in which there is no end to learning and how humans need to find new strategies to resolve issues, it can safely be said that an individual’s ability to handle change can be TAKEN as an indicator of intelligence.
