Answer» Gandhiji had four interviews with the Lieutenant Governor, who as a result appointed an official commission of inquiry into the indigo sharecroppers’ situation. The commission consisted of landlords, government officials, and Gandhiji as the sole representative of the peasants. गाँधीजी ने लेफ्टिनेन्ट गवर्नर से चार बार भेंट कर बातचीत की जिसके परिणामस्वरूप उसने नील के बंटाईदारों की स्थिति का पता लगाने के लिए एक आधिकारिक आयोग नियुक्त कर दिया। इस आयोग में जमींदार, सरकारी अधिकारी, और किसानों के एकमात्र प्रतिनिधि के रूप में गाँधीजी थे। |
