Answer» Solution :`AgNO_(3)` gives white ppt. with THIOSULPHATE ions which turns black on standing WHEREAS no ppt. is obtained with sulphate ions. `FeCl_(3)` given purple colour with thiosulphate ions which DISAPPEARS gradually and no ppt. or colouration is obtained in CASE of sulphate.
