Answer» Solution :(a) (i) sulphur is soluble in carbon disulphide (ii) POTASSIUM nitrate is soluble in water (iii) Charcoal is insoluble in carbon disulphide as well as in water. (B) (i) Iron filings are separated by a magnet (ii) Naphthalene sublimes on heating (iii) Sand is insoluble in water. (c) (i) AMMONIUM chloride sublimes on heating (ii) Potassium chloride is soluble in water (iii) Powdered glass is insoluble in water. |
