Answer»

GIVEN:

p(x) = 2x² + 2x + K = 0

• One root = -1/3

To FIND :

The value of k .

Solution :

• put x = -1/3

=> 2 (-1/3)² + 2 (-1/3) + k =0

=> 2/9 - 2/3 +k = 0
